Early Intervention Services
Early Intervention builds upon and provides supports and resources for family members and caregivers to enhance children’s learning and development through everyday learning opportunities.
The Hays Area Children’s Center provides services for infants and toddlers with special needs in Ellis and Rush counties. Comprehensive services are available from a team consisting of a special education teacher, speech-language pathologist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, registered nurse, social worker, and other professionals as needed.
United Way of Ellis County and Ellis County mill levy help fund the Infant/Toddler Early Intervention Services program. These year-round services are provided for local children and their families at no cost.
